"The Kyiv community then is the territory of warfare. We had a lot of people who were hurt, a lot of destruction of homes. Almost two years have passed since then, and the memories of that difficult time are gradually erased. The task of today is to capture stories about how people lived, what they felt, what they wanted and what they dreamed of, "said Maria Menyok, head of the NGO" Women for Development. " She added that 50 stories of residents and residents of the Kiptovo, Kyiv and Ivanovo communities will be collected and documented. These stories can later be found on local Internet resources.
IIn addition, the project "Collective Memory of the War in Chernihiv Region" will organize events on art therapy, psychological support for women and girls. "Sloboda was under occupation. Psychological recovery is especially important for our residents. Given that we are still learning to take care not only of physical health, but also of mental health, "added Lidia Gartovich, head of the Good Time NGO.
.A separate important part of the project will be lectures for schoolchildren "Why it is important to know and памʼятати history." "Children today have a difficult test - to live and be formed in conditions of war. They must understand what is happening in Ukraine and the region. The task of us, as adults, is to help schoolchildren learn the lessons of history so that they do not repeat again and again, "Irina Dubik, member of the Kiptivska Women's Union NGO.
""It is important to preserve the memory of the events experienced and their fixation. It is necessary to preserve these stories for different generations in order to show the diversity of persistence of experience and common values, "said Olga Vovchenko, head of the NGO" Justina. "
