Improving the capacity of NGOs - the best opportunities for their success in war. The team of our NGO had the opportunity to see this.
The annual project "Support for the stability and development of the organization during the war," which began in March 2023 and was implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" with the technical support of UN Women Ukraine/UN Women in Ukraine and with the funding of the UN Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund
Thanks to the project:
in the first year of the war, the key personnel of the organization's team remained, which allowed us to continue our active work in Chernihiv and other regions of Ukraine; the functioning of the NGO website was developed and ensured, which strengthened the recognition and quality of communication with beneficiaries, media, etc.;
strengthened the material base of the organization through the acquisition of computer and multimedia equipment and furniture, which strengthened the efficiency and ensured the continuity of the organization;
developed important documents for the activities of our organization - communication strategy and risk management policy that allow you to plan your activities, be more effective in your work.
"During the war, it is especially important to support public organizations and ensure their institutional capacity, which will allow them to timely and effectively respond to the challenges of the time," said Anna Nikolenko-Baeva, head of the organization. For the Association for Democratic Development, the support provided contributed to further successful activities to protect the rights of women and girls in the socio-economic and political spheres in crisis conditions and during hostilities.
