The security audit will be conducted in the Kulikiv community.
Today, a meeting of the founding working group on conducting a security audit in the territorial community was held in Kulikivka. The event was the first step in the implementation of the project "Detection, prevention and response to security challenges in territorial communities of Chernihiv region", which is implemented by the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" and which is a component of the "Impulse" project, implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation and the IBO "Eastern Europe Foundation".
Yulia Posternak, head of the Kulikiv settlement council Yuliya Posternak іhead of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" Anna Nikolenko-Baieva they testified to cooperation, which establishes partnership and joint actions to increase the level of security in the community. The participants of the meeting discussed the project implementation plan, and also determined the stages of conducting a security audit in the Kulikiv community.
"We understand the importance of identifying security challenges and developing a response action plan in communities, so we are systematically working in this direction", Anna Nikolenko-Bayeva emphasized.
Within the framework of the project, an analysis of the security situation, a study of the needs of residents and joint development of solutions aimed at increasing the level of security in the community will be carried out.
The action plan will be approved by the village council. In the future, local self-government will be able to use this document to plan its activities and attract additional funding for the implementation of security measures.

That is why we are constantly working on finding partners and donors who help strengthen the security capacity of the community, implement important initiatives and create a safe environment for the lives of our residents", Yuliya Posternak emphasized.
