"Safe community — happy woman" — is the name of the project implemented in the Kiptiv community of the NGO "Kiptiv Women's Union". The project became possible thanks to the organization's participation in the Chernihiv Oblast 1325 Coalition.
The first training on teaching the skills of pre-medical care to the civilian population in the border, de-occupied territories, as well as in areas with an increased level of pollution with explosive objects, took place thanks to cooperation with the NGO "Vovchok National Higher School". The training was conducted by the Faculty of Civil Defense of this organization under the leadership of Vladlena Tereshchenko. During the training, 22 girls and women of the community received skills regarding:
ambulance call algorithms;
the concepts of "dangerous zone" and "conditional security zone";
critical bleeding and methods of their elimination in the danger zone;
applying the turnstile to yourself and a third party;
victim examination algorithm and work with detected injuries;
massive bleeding (tamponade and pressure bandages);
determination of the state of shock;
prevention of hypothermia (hypothermy);
work with burns and additional injuries;
cardiac-pulmonary resuscitation in emergency conditions, etc.
