  The number of cases of domestic violence during the war decreased, but representatives of social services state up to 10% of refusals to seek help. 

  According to the OVA, in January-November 2024, 7,604 allegations of domestic violence were recorded in the Chernihiv region. During this time, almost 12 thousand people used the help of support services for such victims in the region. However, according to experts, approximately 10% of victims refuse to help.

  Compared to 2023, the number of applications for domestic violence in the same period decreased, it is 7604 applications - against 9023. At the same time, the number of domestic violence calls in the families of servicemen who are on vacation or undergoing rehabilitation has increased. According to experts, these situations require an integrated approach, working with both military personnel and members of their families. 

 In total, there are 50 specialized support services for victims of violence in Chernihiv region: three day centers of social and psychological assistance, six specialized primary social and psychological counseling services and 41 mobile teams.

  Law enforcement officers urge, if you become witnesses or victims of violence, not to be silent and seek help by calling:

* 102 - national Police of Ukraine,

* 1547 - hotline,

* 0-800-213-103 - free legal assistance in the chatbot of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
