Another year is coming to an end. We thank the outgoing year for the achievements and challenges.
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" held a final meeting this year.
During the meeting was
presented a roadmap for strengthening the voice of rural women in the Chernihiv region;
the results of the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325" during 2024 were discussed;
the possibility of joining the Coalition of new public organizations was discussed. There was also a prize draw from the UWF and informal communication.
According to Anna Nikolenko-Baeva, Head of the Secretariat of the Chernihiv 1325 Coalition, the main achievement of the Coalition's activities is its achievements in the field of protecting women's rights, countering domestic and gender-based violence; helping victims of sexual violence, повʼязаного with war. "The coalition works, new organizations seek to join its activities, which means that the issues it raises are important and timely," the public figure said.
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions to localize in the Chernihiv region the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation with the support of the ICF Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. The Coalition currently includes more than 20 organizations and institutions. The coalition is active, cooperates with state authorities of all levels, local governments, systematically holds meetings of the composition and organizes various training trainings and implements projects.
