For the participants of the project to restore livelihoods in the Kulikivska and Chernihiv communities, the team of facilitators of the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" is conducting a series of mental health and psychosocial support events (PZPSP).
The program on mental health and psychosocial support (PSSP), with which our facilitators work, has been developed IOM Ukraine and helps people overcome stress, build resilience to change, develop teamwork, communication, time management, self-confidence and leadership skills. Separate classes are devoted to positive thinking, self-motivation and finding solutions in difficult situations.
Participants have the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to share their own experience and hear the opinion of others. And informal communication during coffee breaks contributes to the establishment of new contacts and mutual support. If necessary, everyone can receive an individual consultation from a psychologist.
Such events become an important resource for community residents, because they provide an opportunity to form skills that help them acquire a new profession or open their own business, receive psychological support, and also develop their personality.
The NGO "Association for Democratic Development" provides psychosocial support to vulnerable population groups in the Chernihiv region in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and with the funding of the German Government Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) through the German Development Bank KfW.
