Memorandums of cooperation were signed with the heads of the Kyinka Village Council, Andrii Holovach, and the Novobilouska Village Council, Dmytro Fedorov, as part of the project "Identifying, Preventing, and Responding to Security Challenges in Territorial Communities of the Chernihiv Region."
Last week, foundational meetings were held in the communities to develop a relevant Action Plan for identifying security challenges, taking into account the gender-sensitive and inclusive needs of women and girls.
As part of the project, working groups will be established in three territorial communities of the Chernihiv region to develop relevant Action Plans for identifying, responding to, and preventing security challenges. During the information campaign, informational posters will be designed, printed, and distributed. In addition, activities will be held for community residents aimed at building skills to respond specifically to the security challenges identified during the development of relevant Action Plans for each community.
The project "Identifying, Preventing, and Responding to Security Challenges in Territorial Communities of the Chernihiv Region" is implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" within the framework of the project "Women, Peace, Security: Acting Together," carried out by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
