"The women of the Kyselivka community, near Chernihiv, have improved their media literacy awareness." After all, during the war, hostile information manipulations, misinformation, fakes become part of the struggle. The training on media literacy in the community was organized by the NGO "Women for Development," which belongs to the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325."
Residents of the Kyselivka community near Chernihiv received not only theoretical knowledge, but also had the opportunity to perform exercises in order to analyze their own media, channels and sources of information. As a result of the training, the participants learned how to effectively filter fakes and resist information manipulation.
The project of the NGO "Women for Development" is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the UK Government within the framework of the project "Women. Peace. Security ": Answers to the Challenges of War," which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem," the Women's Information and Consultation Center, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and the Women's Perspectives Center with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
