Monitoring the implementation of the regional action plan in 2024 pursuant to UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women. Peace. Security "was considered in Chernihiv during a meeting of the coalition" Chernihiv 1325. " During the meeting, the coalition's influence on the implementation of the plan was also discussed.
The main result is the degree of implementation of the regional action plan for 2024 is 91%. In particular, 18 tasks out of 24 and 60 events were completed - out of 66. The implementation of the plan was influenced by financial, demographic, security, gender challenges.
Among the key tasks of the plan are:
ensuring the participation of women in decision-making processes, in particular in the field of security and defense;
creating a gender-sensitive system for identifying security challenges;
preventing and countering gender-based violence;
conducting awareness-raising activities on post-conflict recovery for the local population and IDPs.
Following the monitoring of the regional action plan 1325, a number of recommendations were developed. They relate to
implementation of financing activities of the regional action plan from state or local budgets, as well as
periodic training and advanced training of performers,
improve communication and
annual monitoring of the implementation of the regional action plan "Women. Peace. Safety. "
