In the spring of 2024, the international organization ZOA in partnership with Association for democratic development/Асоціація демократичного розвитку with funding from UHF, they supported affected families in the Chernihiv region in the purchase of vegetable seeds, fertilizers and land cultivation equipment.
One of these families was the family of Olga Vonok from the village Dovzhik Novobilouskaya community. Olga gratefully talks about the help she received:
"We fully purchased all potatoes and other seeds for the funds received. We even had enough for tillage, fertilizer, sprayer and various small tools. This is a huge support, especially for our large family. I am now on maternity leave, and the eldest daughter has a disability, so every penny counts. It is very good that there are such organizations that help people in difficult times. "
A woman proudly demonstrates her harvest - this is not only the result of hard work, but also an example of how timely support can change lives for the better.
