Every Ukrainian needs digital security skills and knowledge. After all, progress encourages us to meet the needs of the time while maintaining privacy and protecting the electronic devices that we constantly use.
This was discussed during the training "Digital Security in the Digital Age: Protection from Threats and Privacy Preservation," organized by the NGO "Women for Development," which is part of the Chernihiv Region 1325 Coalition. The event took place in the village of Progres, Kipti community.
20 local residents of different ages improved their awareness of digital security and protection against threats. Particularly valuable for residents of the community were practical tips on digital security: how to protect personal information on the network, including passwords, data and privacy; how to secure your devices, primarily phones.
The training for women of the Kipti community took place as part of the implementation of the project "Media Literacy and Women's Safety in the Digital World," which is being carried out in accordance with the regional action plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325.
The project is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the UK Government within the framework of the Women. Peace. Security ": Answers to the Challenges of War," which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem," the Women's Information and Consultation Center, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and the Women's Perspectives Center with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
