New help page. The charitable organization is launching a humanitarian response project for residents of the Chernihiv region.
The team of BO "Charitable Foundation "Association of Democratic Development", in partnership with ZOA in Ukraine support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (HFC/UHF) joins the implementation of the large-scale project "Comprehensive support in the areas of monetary assistance by priorities, group monetary transfers, emergency livelihoods and housing for the population affected by the conflict in the northern and southern parts of Ukraine within the framework of strategic priorities № 1, 2, 3.".
The project has already started and will last a year, until March 31, 2027. As part of its implementation, residents of 4 regions of Ukraine will be able to receive assistance: Mykolaiv, Kherson, Chernihiv and Sumy. In the Chernihiv region, the project will be implemented in the Koryukiv, Novgorod-Siversky and Chernihiv districts.
The overall goal of the — project is to meet as much as possible the most urgent humanitarian needs of people living in close proximity to the border and/or front line and affected by the conflict. As part of the implementation of the project, vulnerable categories of the population of Chernihiv region living in the zone 0–50 km from the border and/or front line will be able to receive assistance.
In the Chernihiv region, the project envisages:
- provision of monetary assistance according to priorities for vulnerable sections of the population living near the border and/or front line; Residents of Chernihiv region from among the most vulnerable categories of the population will be able to cover basic household needs, urgent costs for repairing their homes caused by proximity to the contact line and air attacks. The focus will be on assisting households living within 0-50 km of the border and/or front line
- provision of emergency support for food production (mixed type) Households engaged in personal peasant farming in the north of Ukraine, located in the zone 20–50 km from the border and/or front line, will receive financial assistance for food production in emergency situations. This will allow them to meet the priority needs for growing agricultural crops, livestock, and poultry.
- provision of group money transfers to public organizations and volunteer groups for their implementation of approved projects;
In order to respond as effectively as possible to people's needs and provide assistance in a timely manner, our team will cooperate with local authorities, other public organizations and community leaders. The project "Comprehensive support in the areas of monetary assistance by priorities, group monetary transfers, emergency means of livelihood and housing for the population affected by the conflict, in the northern and southern parts of Ukraine within the framework of strategic priorities № 1, 2, 3" is implemented by the "Charity Fund "Association of Democratic Development" in partnership with ZOA with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (HFC/UHF).
