A new public space appeared in the Kulikiv Public Library. Its arrangement became possible thanks to the participation of the NGO "Women. Community. Changes" Public organization "Women. Community. Changes" in the project "Supporting public participation in restoring the resilience of communities of Chernihiv and Kyiv regions", which is implemented by the NGO "Women's Consortium of Ukraine" in partnership with the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" with the support of OXFAM GB.
The women's space "The Way to Self" is located in the yard of the local library. If necessary, it can be transformed and used for various needs - be it teaching, trainings, gatherings, master classes, or a pleasant place for reading or communication. And there are also plans to hold evening film screenings. For this, they bought a screen and a projector.
The opening of the space was attended by the village head Yuliya Posternak and the deputy head of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" Iryna Kulyk. Maryna Andrushko, director of the Center for Cultural Services, told how the space was arranged. By the way, the space has already been visited by participants of two art therapy events.
The space is open not only to women, but also to all residents of the Kulikiv community. Prepared according to the materials of the NGO "Women. Community. Changes".
