Освіта без кордонів: як SvitloSchool відкриває можливості дітям під час війни
SvitloSchool — an online charity school founded in Great Britain, which unites volunteer teachers from all over the world: from Britain, the USA and Europe to Latin America and Peru. From the first days of the full-scale war, the school became a real international educational environment for Ukrainian teenagers who are forced to study in very difficult conditions.
The school was founded by Yuliya Kosko —, a Ukrainian with twenty years of experience in the British education system. Her idea was simple: to create a free, stable space for education and development for children who found themselves in extraordinary life circumstances. Over three years, SvitloSchool supported more than 3,000 students from different regions of Ukraine and the diaspora.
In addition to regular online classes, SvitloSchool opens up opportunities for children to participate in international camps. It's not just a vacation, but an active learning environment where children learn leadership, present themselves in English, work in international teams and see that their voices are important in the world. Many teenagers feel stronger after participating in SvitloSchool camps, try new learning formats, apply for international educational programs.
The school provides an opportunity not only to learn English, but also to reveal one's talents in creative clubs, book discussions, and debates. Children regularly hold thematic meetings and interactive games.
The school works as a charity project and develops thanks to the support of caring people. Each new set, circle or camp becomes possible thanks to such support. You can learn more about studies, clubs, international camps and participation in the SvitloSchool program on the website:
