Developing the women's movement of Chernihiv Oblast and supporting women's public organizations of the region, on the eve of the winter period, we strive to learn more about urgent needs and main challenges for the public sector.

The purpose of this study — is to determine the current needs, main challenges, the level of organizational capacity and prospects for the development of women's, feminist and human rights organizations of the Chernihiv region. The obtained research results will help determine the priority areas of support for organizations. They will also be used in the development of programs to strengthen the capacity of NGOs and create opportunities for more effective cooperation at the regional level.
In addition, we strive to study the needs of women's organizations and communicate personally. Thus, they recently held a meeting with representatives of women's, feminist and human rights organizations from the Chernihiv region. During the joint event, their needs, challenges and how to reduce the impact of the risks of the border region were discussed.
After all, the main challenge for many local women's organizations remains security. NGO representatives consider issues of both physical and psychological and digital safety to be important. At the same time, there is a need to expand opportunities for offline training and education for women to develop their competencies and increase competitiveness. The barrier-free and accessibility of public spaces in communities is also important. Based on the results of the meeting, the directions of work were determined and further communication was planned.
