What is bullying and how to resist it is one of the important topics raised by psychologists for teenagers in children's spaces working within the PROMESSA project: "Pearl" — in Novovodolazka, "Wings" — in Zlatopilska, "Zherelo" in Tomakivska communities.

After all, bullying is long-term, deliberate and systematic abuse, psychological or physical violence of one person or group against another. If the harassment takes place in digital space, in messengers, social networks or gaming platforms, then it is about cyberbullying.

It is important to know that bullying— is not a conflict between two people, but a disease of the entire team. It always has three roles:

  • Abuser (buller): Tries to assert himself at the expense of others, hiding his own complexes or problems.
  • Affected person: Any person who differs from the majority in some way (appearance, success, views).
  • Witnesses: The largest group. Those who watch silently or shoot on the phone. The silence of witnesses — is a fuel engine for bullying. During classes in children's spaces, specialists explain to children how to act correctly to resist bullying.

In addition, it is worth remembering that in Ukraine administrative responsibility (fines or correctional labor) is provided for bullying. If the buller is not 16 years old, his parents pay the fines.
