The strategic session for the NGO team "Association of Democratic Development" took place within the framework of the project "Detection, prevention and response to security challenges in territorial communities of Chernihiv region", which is implemented by a public organization. It is a component of the "Impulse" project, implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation and the "Eastern Europe" Foundation.
Over the course of two days, the organization's team analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the NGO's activities, its prospects and impact on the development of the public sector both at the regional and all-Ukrainian levels.
The result of joint work is the development of information on the further development of the public organization. Based on these data, the Strategic Plan for the Development of NGOs for the period 2026-2028 and the Operational Plan until the end of 2027 will be developed.
"Our organization has been working since 2015 and implements projects not only in Chernihiv Oblast, but also in other regions of the country. We emphasize the protection of women's rights, support for women and children in crisis situations; humanitarian response; combating violence; actively included in the development of the women's movement, etc. Joint analysis of activities and vision of prospects are important for every public organization. Therefore, the development of Strategic and operational development plans will significantly strengthen our organization", emphasized the head of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" Anna Nikolenko-Baieva.
