The training on providing psychological first aid to children, organized by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" in cooperation with the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Chernihiv region, was held in the Mykhailo-Kotsyubynske community.
Participants of the training - teachers, employees of educational institutions, residents of the community - had the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and skills to support children of all ages in crisis situations. They also talked about various methods of working with children - game and fairy tale therapy, search for a resource for stress resistance.
The project "Strengthening the psychological resilience of residents of communities in the Chernihiv region" is being implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" in cooperation with the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region thanks to the financial support of the UK Government within the framework of the project "Women. Peace. Security ": Answers to the Challenges of War," which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem," the Women's Information and Consultation Center, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and the Women's Perspectives Center with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
