Training on media literacy was held in the village of Krasne, Ivanovo community. The event was organized by the NGO "Women for Development," which is part of the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325".

As coach Anastasia Ulyusheva emphasized, basic knowledge of media literacy is needed for every Ukrainian in the context of the information war with Russia. Therefore, regardless of age, it is worth studying to understand the basic information processes.

Residents of the Ivanovo community learned about the difference between information and propaganda, the difference between journalists and bloggers, possible manipulations and fakes in the information space. In addition, residents of the community worked out exercises that made it possible to analyze the personal media field and learn how to effectively filter fakes. 

The project of the NGO "Women for Development" is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the UK Government within the framework of the project "Women. Peace. Security ": Answers to the Challenges of War," which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem," the Women's Information and Consultation Center, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and the Women's Perspectives Center with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
