Participated in the round table meeting "Women's capacity and leadership in strengthening community resilience: from challenges to solutions" on the occasion of the International Day for Women's Rights

   Participated in the meeting of the round table "Women's capacity and leadership in strengthening community resilience: from challenges to solutions" on the occasion of the International Day of Struggle for Women's Rights, initiated by the NGO "Union of Women of. Chernigov." This organization is also part of the Chernihiv Oblast 1325 Coalition.

Representatives of local self-government bodies, public organizations, the educational industry and law enforcement agencies joined forces to promote the strengthening of the role and leadership potential of women in the development and strengthening of community resilience.

During the meeting:

  they discussed current challenges and problems faced by women in the community, in particular in the conditions of modern social and security challenges;

  they shared successful practices of women's leadership in the public, social and managerial life of the community;

  increased interaction between representatives of public organizations, local authorities, the educational and scientific sphere, and state bodies;

  considered the national action plan for the implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1325 "Women, peace, security" and measures for its implementation at the local level;

  outlined ways to strengthen women's participation in decision-making processes at the local level.
