In the Shostka district of the Sumy region, the team of the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" has completed a series of focus group discussions and interviews as part of the assessment of agricultural markets and needs.
The purpose of these — meetings is to better understand the challenges, risks, needs and resources that today determine agricultural development and affect the food security of communities in wartime conditions.
During the discussions, the participants identified key issues, including: access to land and agricultural resources, sources of income for local households, problems arising from the security situation, logistical barriers and the urgent need for support from state institutions and humanitarian organizations.
Based on the collected data, our specialists are already working on the final report. It will present the main conclusions, problematic aspects, opportunities for development and practical recommendations for the implementation of targeted solutions in the communities of Shostka district.
The project is implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" (ADD) together with Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine (NRC) in Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
