Field meeting of the Coalition "Chernihivshchyna 1325", which is working on the localization of the National Action Plan "Women. Peace. Security", took place in the Kiptiv community.
The participants of the event got acquainted with the implementation of the project "Safe community - confident woman", which is aimed at solving security issues in the Kiptiv community. The initiative is being implemented to implement recommendations based on the results of security audits within the framework of the "Women" project. Peace. Security: acting together", implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund with the support of the Government of Great Britain.
In the format of a round table, the participants of the Coalition talked with the head of the Kiptiv community, Volodymyr Kuchma, the head of the council of the NGO "Kiptiv Women's Union" КІПТІВСЬКА ЖІНОЧА СПІЛКА Halyna Pozniak, representatives of the village community and members of other women's organizations of the Chernihiv Oblast Coalition 1325.
The "Chernihiv Oblast 1325" coalition was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions on the localization of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation in the Chernihiv region with the support of the Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. Today, 30 organizations and institutions belong to the Coalition in the region. The association actively operates, cooperates with state authorities of all levels and local self-government, systematically holds meetings of the composition and organizes various events and trainings.
