On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the Ukrainian Women's Movement, the Forum "The Women's Movement Acts in All Women" is held in the capital.... The Association for Democratic Development is represented at the forum by its leader Anna Nikolenko-Baeva.
The emergence of the Ukrainian women's movement related with the names of Natalia Kobrynska, Elena Pchilka and other Ukrainian women who improved the lives of contemporaries, fighting for the rights of women, and also contributed to the development of national culture, education, etc.
The Ukrainian women's movement is a powerful force that has been a guardian of women's rights and national interests of Ukraine for more than a century. Like 140 years ago, today women continue to rally, joining forces in response to new challenges. "Ukrainian women demonstrate extraordinary resilience and strength in the face of war, crises and societal change. They save lives, develop reforms, protect the country, rebuild communities, start businesses, create culture and develop the media sphere and defend social justice for the most vulnerable people in the country, "according to the Ukrainian Women's Fund, which initiated the forum. Participants and participants of the forum were representatives and representatives of all regions of Ukraine. After all, doing important things every day, we are now forming a powerful women's movement in Ukraine.
"I am sure that women of Chernihiv region are also an important component of the modern women's movement in Ukraine. They are strong, active, inspired, creative, successful. They work in different industries. However, we are ready to work обʼєднуватися and hard to change for the better today life in our community, our city or village, "said Anna Nikolenko-Baeva.
