The team of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" made visits to the Shostkin and Yampil communities of the Sumy region in order to study the needs of the affected population and clarify the necessary data for the provision of assistance.

Visits were made to potential aid recipients who pre-filled a registration questionnaire for livelihood support for IDPs and the war-affected local rural population of Shostkina and Yampil communities of Sumy region from among vulnerable categories.

Personal communication with people made it possible to get more information about their current life circumstances and real needs. Such departures are part of a broader process aimed at ensuring equitable access to assistance.

We will remind that the registration took place in May-June 2025 and was available to those residents of Shostkina and Yampil communities of Sumy region who met the vulnerability criteria defined in the form.

The project is implemented by the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" together with Norwegian Refugee Council in Ukraine (NRC) with the support of Norway and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
