The women's space "Territory of Care and Change" —, a unique place of strength, support and development —, opened in the village of Vovchok of the Kiptiv community. This project became possible with the assistance of the Women's Consortium of Ukraine Жіночий консорціум України, NGO "Association of Democratic Development" in close cooperation of local activists with NGO "Kiptivska Women's Union"" КІПТІВСЬКА ЖІНОЧА СПІЛКА та Кіптівської сільської ради.
The opening of the women's space became a cultural event for the entire community, which was accompanied by an exhibition of the works of the local craftswoman Olena Tereshchenko, a performance by the folk folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Verbychenka", a tasting of local cuisine, an introduction to the Vovchok People's Higher School and a new art object of the village.
The created space is a safe environment not only for rural women and girls, where you can take care of your mental health and restore your inner resource. And a platform for everyone interested in learning and self-realization, where everyone can find themselves, improve skills, and open new horizons. It is a symbol of how small steps at the local level become part of the great movement of change.
Local activists are convinced that project activities in rural communities — are not just a need, but a strategy for sustainable development."Today, when the challenges are particularly acute, only by uniting the efforts of local activists of the public sector, local authorities and international partners, we can create real points of growth and support", the Kiptiv Women's Union emphasizes.
