Residents of two communities of Chernihiv Oblast can receive monetary "Extra support for food production (mixed type)"

Applications for participation in the agricultural support program have started in the Chernihiv region. The programme aims to help families who run a subsistence farm for their own consumption and who need additional assistance. Within the framework of this program, participants who will receive cash payments will be selected. Program participants will be able to spend the funds to meet the priority needs for growing agricultural crops, livestock, and poultry. 

Which communities are involved?Residents of Novgorod-Siversk and Horodnya communities of Chernihiv region. The program is valid for settlements in the zone of 20–50 km from the front line or border.

Who can get help?

- families running subsistence farming mainly for their own consumption;

- internally displaced persons (IDPs) or low-income families with difficulties in obtaining social support due to the consequences of war;

- families comprising persons with disabilities;

- households inhabited by people aged 60 or over who do not receive a pension because of insufficient seniority, lack of documentation or other reasons;

- families that include persons with serious, chronic or expensive diseases, in particular oncological ones;

- families providing permanent care for children, persons with disabilities or seriously ill persons.

Mandatory conditions for participation:

  • actual residence in the specified zone;
  • personal management of natural economy;
  • income up to UAH 8,422 per person per month;
  • the presence of at least one vulnerability criterion.

For what needs are funds allocated?

  • fodder for livestock and poultry;
  • tools, inventory and equipment;
  • seeds, fertilizers, materials for crop production;
  • other important expenses for your farm.

Households that do not have adequate communication or digital access to submit applications will be able to do so by phone, or request support from the headman's office/TsNAP.

Applying does not guarantee assistance. The selection of participants will be carried out in accordance with the criteria of the program and after checking all the information provided.
