Knowledge and skills in pre-medical care in wartime conditions are crucial for saving lives and maintaining health. They are especially necessary for those who work in the "field" conditions of border communities.
The training on the topic "Providing first aid" was held in Chernihiv for representatives of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development".
Its goal — is to build the skills needed to respond to crisis situations and provide first aid during "field" trips into project teams. It was about theoretical knowledge and practicing practical skills according to the MARCH algorithm, which includes help with bleeding, breathing disorders, head injuries, etc.
The training for the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" took place within the framework of the implementation of the components of the project "Comprehensive support in the areas of housing, livelihoods, multi-purpose monetary assistance (MPCA) and group monetary transfers (GCT) for the population affected by the conflict in the northern and southern parts of Ukraine", which is implemented by a separate unit "Stichting ZOA Ukraine" with the financing of the Ukrainian Humanities Fund.
