Project mission 

To form a systematic approach in communities to identify, prevent and respond to security challenges, taking into account the gender-sensitive and inclusive needs of women and girls, and to provide communities with practical tools for further planning of security measures. 

Project provides:

-    creation of multidisciplinary working groups in the Minsk and Kulikiv territorial communities of the Chernihiv region, which during strategic planning activities will develop current Action Plans for identifying security challenges taking into account the gender-sensitive and inclusive needs of women and girls, preventing such challenges and responding to them;

-      approval of the developed current Action Plans of the LGU and presentation of these Action Plans in communities;

-   educational and practical activities for community residents on the formation of safety behavior skills; 

-     development, printing and distribution of information posters with brief structured information on identifying security challenges and how to respond to them;

- preparation of two materials and two stories about successful stories within the project
