
Activists of 7 public women's organizations of Chernihiv region — representatives of the Coalition "Chernihiv region 1325" and communities of the region took part in a two-day training on women's leadership and the role of women in the reconstruction processes of Ukraine, held in Poltava.

the role in political and public life during the war and reconstruction - these and other topics of Chernihiv were studied and discussed together with female colleagues from Sumy and Poltava regions. These regions are part of the Interregional Center for Restoration and Development/HUB "Northern" of the Ukrainian Women's Fund."Meaningful and rich training, which emphasized the importance of women's participation in the processes of restoration and reconstruction of our country. And they should be inclusive and take into account the needs of all residents. As always, new acquaintances and networking of organizations have become a special value, - said the head of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" Anna Nikolenko-Bayeva.

The event took place within the framework of the project "GEN-Recovery - building a gender-inclusive recovery together with the women's movement of Ukraine". The project is implemented by a consortium led by FOKUS in partnership with the Ukrainian Women's Fund, La Strada-Ukraine and the Cooperation Platform — Center for Public and Social Development with the support of the Norwegian government.
