During the 5th Feminist Forum, our organization, together with other activists, participated in the development of the Declaration of the Feminist Movement of Ukraine.
The document defines a common vision of international advocacy, principles of engagement and priorities around which we are ready to act together. We speak to the world based on our own experiences of war, resistance, solidarity, leadership and recovery.
Today, when Ukraine resists Russian aggression, and democratic values and women's rights in the world are increasingly under threat, the Ukrainian feminist movement has a special responsibility. That is why the Declaration — is not only about values. This is about joint responsibility, readiness to coordinate efforts, strengthen each other, represent Ukraine on international platforms and form a global agenda together with international partners.
