Everything that representatives of humanitarian missions need to know and be able to do while working in border communities is provided by the three-day training "HEAT - Rules of Conduct in a Hostile Environment", organized in the capital.

Representatives of our team updated their theoretical knowledge and practical skills while working in dangerous conditions. After all, it is never known what will happen in border settlements that are in the zone of enemy shelling.

And for the NGO "Association of Democratic Development", this training was especially relevant, since the team often works in communities bordering the Russian Federation.

  • during the training, the participants considered a number of important and relevant issues: mission planning and risk assessment;
  • rules of conduct during the announcement of an alarm;
  • secure communication;
  • first aid under MARCH protocols;
  • drone detectors and RER tools;
  • actions in case of threat of attack UAVs, etc.

"This training was very informative and also allowed to practice practical skills of behavior in dangerous conditions. It should be passed by representatives of all NGOs working in the border region", Iryna Kulyk, deputy head of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development", shared her impressions Iryna Kulyk

The training took place within the framework of the project of the charitable organization "Charitable Foundation "Right to Protection", within the framework of the NGO support component - Duty of Care.

We are sincerely grateful to the partners who take care of the appropriate level of safety of our organization's personnel during the performance of official duties in high-risk areas.
