The format and best practices of the coalition "Chernihiv 1325" were analyzed by its representatives and representatives together with coach Anna Shevchenko.
During the training held in Chernihiv, it was not only about the common vision, values and balance of membership, but also about advocacy and communication campaigns conducted by NGOs belonging to coalitions. Since Chernihiv was seriously affected by the impact of the war, a separate discussion was devoted to the challenges, барʼєрам and strategies of the post-war reconstruction of the region.
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions to localize in the Chernihiv region the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation with the support of the ICF Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. The Coalition currently includes more than 20 organizations and institutions.
The coalition is active, cooperates with state authorities of all levels, local governments, systematically holds meetings of the composition and organizes various training trainings.
