In Chernihiv, a meeting of the coalition "Chernihiv 1325." The main issue of the meeting was the discussion of the implementation of the regional Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" during 2024, as well as topical issues of its implementation before the end of the year.
First of all, it is about involving women in decision-making at the local level, protecting the rights of women and girls, responding to wartime challenges, in particular, sexual violence, related with war. In addition, participants and participants of the meeting exchanged information on grant opportunities for organizations that have membership in the coalition "Chernihiv 1325."
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions to localize in the Chernihiv region the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation with the support of the Ukrainian Women's Fund. The Coalition consists of more than 20 organizations and institutions. Association is active, cooperates with state authorities of all levels, local authorities, systematically holds meetings of the composition and organizes various training trainings.
