Border support. In Novgorod-Sivershchyna, an aid project for a vulnerable population from the NRC is being successfully implemented

Living under constant fire on border — is a daily endurance test where every day is a struggle for survival. In such extremely difficult conditions, simple human support and timely help become a real salvation and a ray of hope for local residents. In order to meet the needs of vulnerable categories of the population living in the settlements of Novgorod-Siversk TG and other communities of the Novgorod-Siversk district, the project "Supporting the vulnerable population living in the border settlements of Chernihiv region" has been actively implemented since June.

The project is implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" together with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) with the financial support of Norway.

"Today, residents of Novgorod-Sivershchyna are in conditions that are difficult to imagine without daily courage. Constant shelling destroys not only the infrastructure, but also the usual way of life of people. That is why our help is needed here and now. Money support — is not just finance, it is an opportunity for many families to quickly solve their most critical problems, save strength and feel that they are not left alone with trouble. We are deeply grateful to the partners from the NRC for the fact that at this crucial moment they are standing side by side with the Ukrainian border", — notes project manager Iryna Kulyk.
