  Coalition "Chernihivshchyna 1325" continues its activities. During the regular meeting, representatives of the coalition discussed:

  іinformation campaign in the region regarding UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security";

  strengthening the role of the Coalition in conducting an information campaign and drawing attention to the need for the Ukrainian government to approve the third National Action Plan 1325 for 2026 - 2030;

  organization of an advocacy campaign to include in the regional action plan 1325 of the Chernihiv region tasks and events aimed at women from the families of military personnel. A special issue was the involvement of representatives of the Chernihiv Region 1325 Coalition in signing a petition to establish the Day of the Ukrainian Women's Movement.

  The Ukrainian Women's Fund proposes to establish this day on December 8, since it was on this day in 1884 that the first women's society in Ukraine was founded on the initiative of the Ukrainian writer and public figure Natalia Kobrynska.

   Today, honoring the history of the women's movement is not just symbolic, because Ukrainian women participate in the development of civil society, are active in the economy, protection of Ukraine, and volunteering.
