In the Kyiv community, the NGO "Women for Development," which is part of the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325," organized a training for local women as part of the implementation of the project "Media Literacy and Women's Safety in the Digital World." The project is being implemented in pursuance of the regional action plan on UN Security Council Resolution 1325.
20 women and girls - residents of the community - during the training improved their awareness of digital security, protection from threats and preservation of privacy. For residents of the community, knowledge of digital security was especially valuable: how to protect personal information on the network, including passwords, data and privacy. Representatives of the Kyiv community have reduced their vulnerability to digital threats, gained knowledge in the field of digital security and are able to disseminate relevant information among friends and relatives.
The project is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the UK Government within the framework of the Women. Peace. Safety ": Answers to the Challenges of War," which is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem" of the Human Rights Defender YurFem, the Information and Consulting Women's Center, the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and the Center "Women's prospects" with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy. .
