Meeting of representatives of civil society to discuss the vision of partnership with UN Women, held in Lviv.

Iryna Kulyk, manager of the Association for Democratic Development NGO, attended a meeting of representatives of civil society to discuss the vision of partnership with UN Women, held in Lviv.

The main goal of the event was to create a platform for women's organizations to discuss in detail the strategic priorities of UN Women in developing partnership with civil society.

The event was rich and interesting, including presentations, panel discussions and group work. UN Women presented priorities for developing partnerships with civil society and organized interactive thematic sessions for participants to share their thoughts, approaches and experiences.

"Women's organizations are key partners of UN Women in promoting gender equality. And we have experience of cooperation with UN Women in Ukraine. Among the implemented projects is support for women with disabilities in communities of several regions. I am sure that our cooperation will continue, "said Iryna Kulyk.

On the final day of the meeting, a several-hour session was held with civil society organizations that receive support from the Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF). This session was aimed at exchanging vision of current challenges, prospects and conclusions, creating conditions for the development of new partnerships. By the way, the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" is currently implementing a project from the WPHF aimed at institutional support of the NGO.

According to UN Women in Ukraine, since the beginning of a full-scale war, it is the representatives of women's groups and civil society organizations (CSOs) that play a significant role in providing basic support to vulnerable groups. This activity continues.
