Chernihiv Public Committee for the Protection of Human Rights in December celebrated 25 years of its activity.
Important areas of activity of the public organization are countering domestic and gender-based violence; human trafficking; support for victims of sexual violence during the war, etc.

Among the achievements of the organization is the first case won from the Chernihiv region in the European Court of Human Rights; 1000-1200 legal consultations every year and many inspiring stories about fundamental changes in the lives of women who suffered from violence.
