On May 13, women and girls gathered in the village of Trisvyatskaya Sloboda of the Kyiv community to take part in the training "Psychological assistance in times of war: self-preservation and resilience skills."
Psychologist Elena Antonenko held an interesting and useful meeting, where the participants could:
- learn about how stress affects a person in wartime, how to recognize signs of stress and anxiety;
- debunk stereotypes about taking care of yourself and received practical methods of self-help and relaxation;
- identify attitudes that prevent recovery and maintain mental health.
- get information where you can get psychological help. Participants of the training received a lot of useful information and practical skills that will help them better cope with stress and anxiety in wartime.
"This training was very useful for me, ‒ Margarita, a participant of the event, shared her impressions. ‒ I learned a lot about how to take care of myself in wartime. Now I know there are people who are willing to help me. "
The project "Collective memory on the War in Chernihiv Region" is supported by the Partnership for the Sustainability of Ukraine Foundation, which is funded by the governments of Great Britain, Canada, the Netherlands, the United States of America, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden.
