Representatives of the international organization - the foundation "TER DEZ OM Italy ETS" visited the Zlatopil community in the Kharkiv region. They systematically help Ukrainian children during the war. In the Zlatopil community, a branch of the "TER DEZ OM Italy ETS" foundation in Ukraine supported the creation of the "Kryla" space for children, where psychosocial support is provided to children from 4 to 17 years old.
All activities that take place in the space help to strengthen the mental stability of children and adolescents, to form skills to overcome difficulties, to reduce the level of stress and anxiety. Also in the space are group and individual activities for parents and caregivers. This project is implemented by the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Stefano Antichi the official representative of the "TER DEZ OM Italy ETS" foundation in Ukraine and Bruno Neri, the program director of the foundation, met with the leadership of the Zlatopil City Council. Together with the mayor Mykola Baksheev, they discussed the already existing partnership, the needs of the community's residents, primarily children, and further cooperation.
In addition, Italian guests in the community talked with children at Lyceum 6, a house of children's and youth creativity, and also attended one of the classes with children in the "Wings" space. Iryna Kulyk , the deputy head of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" emphasized the importance of established cooperation and its effectiveness.
"During war, children are very vulnerable, they need professional support to better overcome the consequences of war. Our project is an example of effective interaction in the direction of helping children and adolescents in the public sector, authorities and international partners", she emphasized.
The project "PROMESSA: Child protection, emergency response and health care for the most vulnerable families affected by the conflict in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions" is implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" in partnership with the Branch of the Ter des Om Italy ETS Foundation in Ukraine (TDH Italy) Terre des Hommes Italia in Ucraina funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo - AICS Kiev.
