At the conference "Restoring Ukraine: Economic Capabilities of Women Affected by SNPK," the public organization "Association for Democratic Development" was represented by Iryna Kulyk as a speaker.

The conference was organized in the capital Український Жіночий Фонд / Ukrainian Women's Fund or Асоціація жінок-юристок України "ЮрФем". The purpose of the event was not only to discuss the challenges faced by women who survived the SNPK, but also to present a study on international experience and recommendations for Ukraine on the economic empowerment of victims as an element of reparations.

Iryna Kulyk shared the experience and achievements of our organization in the process of implementing the project "Sexual violence as a weapon of war: prevent and support. Updating the system of assistance to victims of SNPK in the information space of Chernihiv region, "which was supported by the UWF within the framework of the project" Let's Stand Together!. "

This large-scale project of the Ukrainian Women's Fund with the support of the EU began at a time when, after the de-occupation of the Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Chernihiv region, everyone first heard the stories of victims of sexual violence associated with the war.

Over the two years of the project's activity, there are many developments that will become the basis for further development of the support system for victims of SNPK. Among the key needs is the need to strengthen the economic capacity of women affected by the SNPC, which is one of the elements of reparations to victims of the SNPC, as well as especially important in the context of Ukraine's recovery.

Participants of the conference discussed and identified specific ways to integrate women affected by the CPPK into economic life by supporting entrepreneurship, creating new jobs, as well as providing access to necessary resources and material support as an element of reparations to victims of the CPPK.

Another key point is the development and improvement of the integrated support system for people affected by the CIPC, both at the national and regional levels. During the discussion, participants focused on coordinating efforts between governmental and non-governmental organizations.#NGO_ADD #Чернігівщина_1325 #Права_жінок #СНПК
