Sexual violence, related with war: providing comprehensive assistance to victims "- two such trainings for different groups took place in Chernihiv.
The purpose of the training was to acquire skills in the proper identification of various forms of sexual violence, related with war/conflict (SNPC), its proper documentation, in accordance with international standards and national legislation. And also - the development of a mechanism of interaction for the provision of comprehensive assistance from the SNPK, in particular, the protection of the rights of victims, the provision of legal, social, medical, psychological support, understanding of the consequences of the SNPK for the affected person and the features of building communications and interaction with her.
The training took place within the project "Let's stand together. Improving the system of support for victims of sexual violence related to the war/SNPK, "performed by the Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund with the public organization" La Strada - Ukraine, "the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine" YurFem "of Human Rights Defender YurFem with the support of the Office of Vice-Prime Minister Prime Ministers for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy and funded by the European Union.
