Strategic session for the promotion of the "Women, Peace, Security" agenda

A strategic session to promote the "Women, Peace, Security" agenda for regional coordinators from different regions of Ukraine was held in Lviv region. From the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325" the event was attended by a representative of the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" Irina Kulik.

According to her, during the execution session, together with colleagues, they discussed new opportunities for planning activities in the field of "Women, Peace, Security" in view of the changes taking place in the context of a full-scale invasion. It was also about updating strategic goals, objectives and activities in this area. In the Chernihiv region, the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325" is actively working, so new developments will be useful when planning the further activities of the coalition.

​Equally useful and practical were the second and third days of the event, dedicated to the formation of working tools for the productive development of strategies for the provision of services to families of veterans at the community level. During the simulation game "Life of Families of Veterans," the participants were able to describe the broad experience of the life of veteran families in the context of the attitude and impact on this life of various stakeholder groups in the community; formulated key challenges and opportunities.

Security ": responses to the challenges of war," implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund with the financial support of the UK Government in partnership with NGO "La Strada - Ukraine," Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine "Yurfem," Information and Consulting Women's Center, Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health and Women's Perspectives Center with the assistance of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy. here...
