Summer is like a small life. This is how children feel this time of year, and it passes very quickly. Vacation, sun, friends. And I don't want freedom and adventure to end. However, in a few weeks - the new academic year will start.
In preparation for school, it is important not only to update school clothes and accessories, — and in the procurement process it is super important to involve children so that they choose things themselves that they like, — but also take care of emotional preparation.
Currently, there is still some time to prepare for school life by attending classes with psychologists in children's spaces working within the PROMESSA project: "Pearl" — in Novovodolazka, "Kryla" — in Zlatopilska, "Zherelo" in Tomakivska communities.
Classes and other activities in children's spaces are aimed at maintaining and developing the emotional system, allow children of all ages to relieve tension, voice their feelings and emotions without fear, work with a psychologist on fears and experiences.
Communication in spaces takes place taking into account the ecological approach - with respect for the personality and dignity of each child. Children are taught not only to communicate with each other, but also the ability to defend their own borders, to communicate without violence and humiliation.
And a leadership program has been developed for teenagers. At the same time, special attention is paid to increasing self-esteem and self-confidence. It is also about understanding what bullying is and how to resist this negative phenomenon.
All classes are conducted by experienced specialists with appropriate psychological and social education. And this allows not only to form skills, but also to work out stressful situations that children often experience in war conditions.

And it is implemented with the aim of strengthening mental health and improving the social adaptation of children and their families who suffered from the war in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
