The dream of the library as a center of meaningful and interesting life in the Kyiv community has become a reality thanks to the efforts of local activists and public organizations.

Within the framework of the Support Program for Public Initiatives of Chernihiv Region, which is implemented by an international humanitarian organization ZOA in Ukraine in partnership with the NGO "Association for Democratic Development," the project "Modern Library - a Step into the Future" was introduced in the Kyiv Public Library. The library has completely updated the space: renovated, acquired modern literature for children, youth and adults.
