The participants of the meeting discussed the results of the Coalition's activities this year. In particular, this is participation in trainings that strengthen the capacity of organizations, their ability to successfully prepare and implement projects that strengthen the regional action plan for UN Security Council Resolution 1325.
They also discussed the implementation by the Coalition members of four projects in the region, supported by the Ukrainian Women's Fund. As for the prospects, the representatives of the meeting expressed their views on strengthening cooperation with communities and attracting representatives of higher educational institutions to the Chernihiv 1325 Coalition.
The highlight of the meeting was the creative greeting of the group "Ladies," representing the NGO "Kiptivska Women's Union," which is also part of the Coalition "Chernihiv 1325." At the end of the meeting, all participants received Christmas gifts from the UWF.
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" was formed this summer to consolidate joint actions to localize in the Chernihiv region the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation with the support of the ICF Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. The Coalition currently includes more than 20 organizations and institutions.
