The first focus of group discussions and interviews took place within the framework of the assessment of agricultural markets and needs, which is carried out by the team of the NGO "Association for Democratic Development".

On July 30-31, group discussions were held with representatives of the Yampil settlement council and representatives of farms and agricultural societies.

These meetings aim to gain a deep understanding of the challenges, risks, needs and available resources affecting agriculture and food security in the communities of Shostky district in wartime conditions.

The participants discussed current problems of the industry, issues of access to land and agricultural resources, sources of income and challenges for households related to the security situation, logistical difficulties and needs for support from the state and humanitarian organizations.

Based on the results of the assessment of agricultural markets and needs, a final report will be formed and presented. It will contain key conclusions, problems, opportunities and practical recommendations for the implementation of targeted interventions in the Shostky district.

The project is implemented by the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" (ADD) together with Норвезька рада у справах біженців в Україні (NRC) in Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
