The forum "Responsible to create the future" gathered almost 70 representatives of the public sector from the city and communities of the region in Chernihiv.
The event was focused on the activities of non-profit organizations of Chernihiv Oblast, and its program included key topics in the development of public organizations in the region. The participants had the opportunity to discuss the construction of sustainable connections between NGOs, volunteers, communities, business and authorities, as well as issues of financial stability. In addition, it was about challenges, effective approaches, internal processes and successful practices that help non-profit organizations grow and strengthen.
The head of the secretariat of the Chernihiv Region 1325 Coalition, the head of the public organization "Association for Democratic Development" Anna Nikolenko-Bayeva spoke about the creation, development and experience of the Coalition, which has been working for more than two years on the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" in the field. In her opinion, the association of public organizations gives each of them not only a positive experience, but also creates additional synergy from projects implemented by joint efforts.
As part of the event, practical workshops on security in war conditions, as well as tools for protecting organizations and teams, were held.
