The implementation of the project to pay cash assistance to residents of Novgorod-Sivershchyna continues.
The process of providing residents of Novgorod-Sivershchyna with priority 1 cash assistance for response in the front-line territories (UCT1) continues at full capacity. Thanks to the joint efforts of the NGO "Association for Democratic Development" and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) with the financial support of Norway, 1,254 people have already successfully received financial support within the project.
The project "Supporting the vulnerable population living in the border settlements of the Chernihiv region", within the framework of which cash payments are provided, is aimed at helping families who daily face a high level of military danger, forced displacement, critical interruptions in access to basic services and excessive economic burden.
The main goal of the — initiative is comprehensive support for the vulnerable population living in the settlements of the Novgorod-Siversky territorial community, as well as other communities of the Novgorod-Siversky district.
Within the scope of the project, we pay special attention to those people of the Novgorod-Siversk community and district, who are often overlooked by standard assistance programs due to informational or physical isolation. Our specialists do everything possible to record each application and help everyone who falls under the criteria of the program to complete the documents correctly.
